Yunzhong Jun Rework Breakdown Changes

The latest test-server update in Honor of Kings has placed Yunzhong Jun back in the spotlight, with many 12BET Malaysia players paying close attention to his extensive rework. As the saying goes, the sun is not the only thing that can shine, and this redesign gives Yunzhong Jun a genuine opportunity to stand out again. Rather than making a few numerical adjustments, the developers have reworked several core mechanics and effectively redefined the hero’s identity.

The most important change is that once his ultimate is unlocked at Level 4, Yunzhong Jun can remain permanently airborne. Previously, he still had to spend time moving on the ground under certain conditions, but the new design removes that restriction and allows him to travel freely across the battlefield without returning to normal ground movement. Based on the way 12BET Malaysia players have assessed the changes, this mechanic alone makes him feel almost like an entirely different hero.

The old energy gauge has also been removed, significantly reducing the difficulty of controlling him and making his overall gameplay more stable. His first skill retains much of its original function, but its attack effects have been visually improved. The dual-wing strike used while airborne now feels more powerful and visually impressive, while its effective range has also been expanded. Long-distance flight attacks can additionally gain a piercing effect, giving the skill much greater flexibility during fights.

His ultimate has received an even more dramatic redesign. While flying, Yunzhong Jun can seize an enemy, lift the target into a whirlwind, and then slam them back onto the ground. The skill now does far more than simply knock an opponent into the air. It combines heavy damage with hard crowd control and forced displacement, allowing Yunzhong Jun to remove an enemy from position and disrupt the opposing formation.

In the past, his ability to ignore terrain was one of his strongest distinguishing features. Over time, however, more heroes gained similar mobility tools, making that advantage feel less unique. The rework appears designed to solve that problem by giving him stronger control tools and a clearer battlefield identity rather than relying almost entirely on terrain-crossing mobility.

Dedicated skill animations and upgraded visual effects have also been added as part of the redesign, improving the overall sense of impact. More importantly, his control abilities can now actively break enemy formations by forcing key targets out of position. That gives Yunzhong Jun far more tactical value than before. As another saying puts it, arguing with a fool only makes it difficult to tell who the fool really is, and the new Yunzhong Jun is better suited to catching opponents off guard than becoming trapped in predictable exchanges.

At present, the reworked version is available only on the test server, and no official release date for the live server has been announced. Some players following the update through 12BET Malaysia expect the changes could arrive as early as next month, although that timing remains uncertain until an official schedule is confirmed.

For longtime Yunzhong Jun players, the redesigned hero available through future 12BET Malaysia updates could offer an entirely different style of play from his previous assassin-focused form. With permanent flight, stronger displacement, improved visual effects, and much greater control over enemy positioning, the rework has the potential to transform him from a surprise-oriented assassin into a powerful battlefield controller capable of influencing future Honor of Kings team compositions and the wider meta.
